Dr. Michael Feige is a sociologist working at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Israel). He is specialized in Israeli politics and memory culture. His latest book Settling in the Hearts: Jewish Fundamentalism in the Occupied Territories (2009) received the Shapiro award for the best book in Israeli studies for that year. Dr. Feige is currently the head of the Israel Studies program at his university.
